Christingle 2009

This year Christingle was again celebrated at Candlemas. The family service was led by Associate Priest Derek using a powerpoint presentation for a paperless service. Reader Gaynor used images to explain the signicance of the sections of the Christingle with a lively Q & A session involving the whole congregation with some forthright answering from the children. During the service younger members of the congregation used glue and sticky tape to make a paper Christingle from small cut out pieces(Some Mums and Grans helped a little!)
