The Steynton Church Painting Class was set up seven years ago. We meet twice monthly in the Church hall on a Wednesday afternoon to enjoy a few hours of watercolour-painting and fellowship. It is not necessary to be a member of the Church and membership is open to any member of the community interested in learning to paint and to enjoy the company of likeminded people. At present less than a quarter are members of Steynton Church. A small fee of £1 per class is charged towards the cost of heating and lighting and 25p for a cup of tea and biscuits!
To continue to run this class and provide what we consider to be a valuable service to the community, we would support any application for a grant to restore the present poor state of the hall to a decent acceptable community building.
