Steynton Parish Church

Steynton is a parish venturing in mission within the terms of the Diocesan direction. We aim to be a worshipping, serving, evangelising and collaborative church. Our hope is to be recognised as a welcoming, inclusive, theologically challenging and innovative church that wants to grow, and be an important influence in the lives of those touched by our ministry.                                      The ancient parish church has been extensively reworked over the centuries. Our concern now is to make sure that the church building will support the liturgical social and community use that we plan for it. In particular we aspire to be able to bid for child friendly status in the near future.

There is a service every Sunday at 11.00 AM. This is usually a Eucharist, but we do try to have innovative non-eucharistic worship as well. Our ministry team and congregation span a wide range of traditions, and our hope is that all who come might find something that gives them a stake in this living Christian community.
